I met up with Lorna a few months ago, on what might have been the rainiest day of the year, to look at the venue and go through everything over coffee. As we talked about the up coming big day, it became clear this was a real family event. Stu and Lorna's children were to play a big role and it was just as much a day for them as the couple. With warning there might be a tear or two on the day, and having heard about a serious good handmade lace dress, I was looking forward to October.
On meeting the girls on the morning of the wedding, I was greeted with pure excitement. And with the dress being as good as promised, I certainly joined in.
Moments like this is what makes me love my job. Raw, uncontrollable emotion is what make a wedding.
Massive Congratuatuons to Stu, Lorna, Maisie, Albie, Scarlett and Evie!
You've got yourselves a seriously beautiful family.
